Since 1856, when the Roman engineer, Peccius, was in charge, this Mediterranean sea salt has been produced in the Aigues-Mortes saltworks, in Camarue, France. After evaporating to a bright white color by the sun and cool sea breezes, this salt is then cleaned in the Mediterranean seawater to give us this high-quality product.
