Our uncured bacon was voted Best Bacon and People’s Choice consecutive years from 2012-2013 at Keystone, Colorado’s Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival. It was also voted best bacon in 2014 at the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival in Des Moines, Iowa.
Berkwood Farms’ thick-cut bacon is uncured with no added nitrates, except those that natural occur in celery salt. The pork bellies are injected with a special brine formula. We recommend pan frying our uncured bacon for the best, most flavorful results.
